Welcome to the Art With Heart Team Blog Hop! Who are the Art with Heart team? I cannot speak highly enough of these lovely ladies. Lead by the talented Claire Daly with over 80 demonstrators across Australia, this team is home to many, many very clever people... if you want to be a part of this highly creative and supportive team just email me for more details.
We have a great team forum, Business Building Club and heaps of support from like minded demonstrators. This blog hop will be a monthly event happening on the last day of every month.
You may have just come from Sue Madex's blog, but if you are starting here, don’t worry, you can make the complete journey just by following the links at the end of each post.
There are 11 stops along the way and we hope you will visit each one to see the wonderful creations we have to show you! If you leave a comment on each and every blog and then email Nikki Sadler, your name will be put into the hat to win some beautiful blog candy.
There is a deadline of 72 hours to leave your comments and only non SU demos are eligible to win - although we'd love all visitors to leave some comments please. The deadline for leaving comments is the 3rd of February (6.00am).
So for our first tour we decided upon the theme of Valentines, what better way to start this journey than with a little bit of lovin'. At the end of each post there will be a link to take you to the next stop on the tour.
It would be fantastic if you could leave a comment on each blog!
So grab a cuppa, and set off on what we are hoping will be an inspirational journey!
I have to admit, I really didn't have any idea what I was going to come up with for this first blog hop. It was after having a conversation with my 12 year old daughter that the idea finally started forming.
Valentine's day is a day for lovers to express their feelings and desires for each other, or a day where you can anonymously tell that special person you love them. It is even a fantastic opportunity to tell a friend how much their friendship means to you. And that is exactly what my daughter and her friends are doing. So I made up this little love box which contains four little love notes that she can pass on to her BFF's.
I tried to keep the design simple yet brightly coloured. Something that a teenage girl would love to get from a friend.
Here is a little peek of the matching love notes within the Box of Love.
And here are the four little love notes.
INKS: Pixie Pink, Pink Passion, Orchid Opulence, Whisper White, Versamark
CARD STOCK: Pixie Pink, Pink Passion, Pale Plum, Orchid Opulence, Whisper White
STAMP SETS: Priceless, Fresh Cuts, En Francais Background Stamp
ACCESSORIES: White Embossing Powder, Heat Gun, Snail Adhesive, Stampin' Dimensionals, Fine Supernova Glitter (Pink), Dazzling Diamonds Glitter, 2-way Glue Pen, Boho Blossoms Punch, Scallop Circle Punch, Full Heart Punch, Heart to Heart Punch, Whisper White Taffeta Ribbon
Well, that’s all from me. Now you’re off to enjoy the beautiful and always so elegant creations of Kimmy Meiklejohn who is another Melbourne based demonstrator.
See you next time xx

How cute is that! I'm not normally a pink fan but I love what you've done mixing it with a little purple. Great stuff.
