Flowers and Pearls
Hey everyone,
It's time I put up another challenge project I have been working on. And this time I was determined to make the deadline hehe.
Today is a colour challenge that the team over at Create with Connie and Mary offered us. I had so much fun coming up with something that used these colours.
The challenge asked us to use:
I have always wanted to try the technique I used on my card and with this stamp set, it gave me the perfect opportunity.
The image was white embossed on "Crumb Cake" card stock and then painted using white ink. After this had dried I used "Not quite Navy" ink and shaded in the flowers.
I love how it seems to pop out.

Just Add Hearts
Hello again.
I have another project to show you today. Again I have entered into a couple of challenges (I'm on a roll hehe). This is a very clean and simple card.
I haven't played with my embossing folders for a while and fun getting them out and dusting them off.
This is a project for this weeks challenge at Just Add Ink, where we had to create something and "just add hearts".

Treat Box Challenge
I made my previous Valentines box without realising I could enter it into the Create with Connie and Mary challenge. For this challenge we needed to create a treat box, and my valentines pillow box fits this description to a tea. I have only just recently found this challenge site, and will be definately returning again. Such great challenges and a great inspiring design team.

Valentine Challenges
Once again it has been a long time between posts. This seems to be the story of my life hehe.
Valentine's Day is just around the corner and I felt it was time to get that cardstock out and dust off my stamps. Today I have created a pillow box. This little box is perfect for that special little gift for a loved one.
To get my creative mojo rolling once again, I decided to add my project to not one, but four paper craft challenges that are currently running.
Challenges are a perfect way to get those creative juices flowing again. And it was just what I needed to get moving.
One of the challenge sites that I have entered my project in are SU Only Challenges (Challenge Number #63). This weeks challenge was to create a Valentine's project using only Stampin' Up! products. (I am excited to announce that I was picked for the top 3 favourites)
The next challenge I entered into is Sunny Challenges and Creations and their weekly challenge was to create a project with the theme "Love"
The Dynamic Duos site challenged us to a colour challenge. The duo of colours that we needed to use were Real Red and Pretty in Pink.
Just Add Ink offered a challenge that required us to "Just Add Hearts". Although my project only has one heart, I thought it may still qualify. Fingers crossed anyway.

Holiday Catalogue Blog Hop

ESAD stands for "Extra Special Australasian Demonstrators" and it is an on-line group just for Australian and New Zealand Stampin" Up! demonstrators.

Now onto my project.
How to catch a winter fairy:
It's not as hard as people think really, all you need are a few items. Firstly, fairies need to know that you believe in them. So, a simple card reflecting this will do. Some sweet candy fairy treats will never go astray, and the soft flame of a candle will attract them.
The soft blue's and purples that I used in my projects portray that wintery feeling, and the added glitz, well lets face it, who doesn't like a little bling
The above is all you need to catch yourself a winter fairy.
The card stock that I used for all projects are Pool Party, Wisteria Wonder and Whisper White. That bit of bling that was added is the Silver Glimmer Paper.
Our Holiday Catalogue is so full of yummy products. In my project I used the stamp set Snowflake Soiree and the beautiful Bigz Die, Snow Flurry. You can make a winter wonderland using just these. They are amazing.
Stamp on a few candles and add some fairy candy ..... and you are all set.
Candles to attract those fairies. I used Pool Party and Wisteria Wonder markers to achieve this effect.
You need to let the fairies know that you believe in them. A simple card will do this.
And finally,
Fairy treats to lure those fairies to you.

Colour Combination Blog Hop
Hello again to everyone. We are a group of fellow Stampin' Up! demonstrators, but more importantly a group of great friends, who have decided to do a little blog hop that showcases some beautiful colour combinations found in the Colour Coach (available for purchase in the current catalogue).
The colour combination that I have chosen for this project is Pink Pirouette, Sahara Sand and Always Artichoke. I think these soft colours look beautiful together.
For my project I have created a set of drawers (perfect for those little gifts for someone special) that showcases an easel style card on the top. This easel is perfect for showcasing a special photo of your loved ones.
Since attending our annual Stampin' Up! convention this year in Melbourne, I have been wanting to try the bleaching technique on one of my projects. I thought this was the perfect opportunity to try it. I used the Elements of Style stamp set and clear embossed it onto my cardstock. Using my aqua pen which contained bleach, I coloured in the parts of the image that I wanted to highlight with the bleach. I'm not sure if it comes up clearly in the photo, but I really love the effect it has.

Happy Easter Everyone
I just wanted to wish my friends and followers a very happy and safe Easter. If you are going away for the long weekend, please drive safely.
I do hope that the Easter Bunny is kind to you and brings lots of chocolate.
As I haven't created any fresh Easter projects for this year I wanted to show you again a project I made for Easter last year.
This cute little Easter box and matching card was so easy to do and so effective. They made the perfect little Easter gift for my children's teachers this year.
